As you know, the Games Convention, one of the largest videogame conventions in the world is taking place in Germany (Leipzig) this week. So what’s better than playing games you ask? I would say “Reading Comics.” but this week there is another answer: Getting into ‘Making Games’! You now have the chance to get all the knowledge you need to get into the world of game creation with reading the new magazine ‘Making Games’. It is the new format of the magazine ‘GameStar/dev’ the biggest game developer magazine in Germany. In this new issue (which is available NOW!) you will find part 3 of my 3D-workshop where I show the 3D-mapping of a 3D-game model.

Now you can buy issue 02/2008 of the new game developer magazine ‘GameStar/dev’. It contains the next part of my ongoing art workshop… and this time it’s all about 3D-graphics! If you want to drop me a line about the new workshop you can easily do this by using the contact form from the top menu on this site.
The new issue of the number one German game developer magazine is out now. It contains my new tutorial series about 2D & 3D game art. In this issue I’m showing how to create concept art for 3D games. In the following issues which will be out later this year I will show how to create 3D models using the 2D concept art from this issue.
You can see one of the concept artworks from issue 01/08 here: ‘Concept Art sample from GameStar/dev 01/08‘.
Regarding my US comic work I will post some news soon…
