I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Even if we don’t have Thanksgiving here in Germany I’m having a great time right now. I’m working on so much cool projects from at home I think it can’t get any better. There was an update on the Maddrax site… so I can show you some of the new covers I did.

Just click the images in this post to see bigger versions of the covers. I really enjoyed drawing the cover to issue 9 with all those zombies in it. I think it can’t get any better then drawing girls in action poses surrounded by undead guys…
If you want to know how I did these covers look out for the new issue of GameStar/dev where you can find a tutorial on how I made cover 10 of the series. The new issue of GameStar/dev should be out today!

I finally entered the conceptart.org Last Man Standing thunderdome. Here is what strych9ine wrote about the challenge at conceptart.org:
LMS3 brings with it this cycle a massive field of 320 contenders over 4 rounds, pitted against each other in a randomly matched bracketed tournament. Pros and novices alike are invited to participate, but keep in mind you’ll be going up against some of the best and brightest in the industry. Bring anything but your best and I guaranteed you’ll be ridden like a dirty alpaca all over the place.
Each round you’ll be paired up by my Super Deluxe Excel Randomizer with no less than 3 other contenders per round.
The Rundown
Round I: 320 contenders paired in groups of 4 / 80 advance
Round II: 80 contenders paired in groups of 4 / 20 advance
Round III: 20 contenders paired in groups of 4 / 5 advance
